Gujarati Food Festival, 2007

Gujarati Food Festival was organized by Asha Munich team as another fund raiser event in February 2007.
The success of South Indian food festival in 2005 led Asha Munich team to bring this time, the best cuisines from
the state of Gujarat. The efforts of cooking the food with native touch was done by the Gujarati community living in Munich. Gujarati food brings
together a galaxy of flavors and textures in the most delightful way. Blending the sweetness of chocolate and the aroma of spices, it creates a
genre of food where every spoonful conjures up a plethora of flavours and leaves behind a pleasant after-taste

Gujarati gastronomy menu
included Dabeli, Methi Gota, Sev Puri, Rava Dhokala ,Sev Ushal and Stuffed Bharela Maracha alongwith sweet lassi. A blend of sweetness with aroma
of spices left our guests with a pleasant aftertaste. |
This festival with Gujarati theme was adorned by other events like Rangoli,
designing Henna patterns on hands, Fancy dress competition for kids, and tombola. The response was overwhelming, and more than two
hundred guests made their afternoon memorable. |
