Asha-Munich, a chapter of Asha for Education Foundation came into existence in January 2003 at the initiative of a group of Indian professionals and students in the Munich area. We aim to mobilize public opinion amongst the residents of Munich and surroundings to generate financial and technical support, for grass root education movements in India

The broader Objectives of Asha are :

• To interact with other non-profit organizations to make our mission a reality.
• To support social development and educational projects in India.

The new edition of “Asha Kiran” gives you an insight into our activities for the period August’10 - July’11. Like the previous year, we exercise this medium to inform you about our organized fundraisers, donation status, project updates (both completed and on-going) and our new commitments and ventures for the following year.
